This is a typical movie of Johnnie To style: multiple clues + surprising ending. To is very good at telling an exciting story in a slow-looking framework. There might be no so-called heroes inside, all are normal policemen/policewomen, but the audience can totally enjoy the nervous, exciting atmosphere built by To.
