Journey to the West: The Demons Strike Back/西游伏妖篇

As the sequel of "Journey to the West: Conquering the Demons", this movie focuses on the conflicts between Tang Monk and Sun Wukong the monkey king to continuously disclose some Buddhist truth: to own once makes you understand the loss better.

However, this truth is nothing peculiar compared to its prequel and it surely is not that impressive. Does anyone grow up from such conflicts? No. That is the reason why this movie is weaker than its three prequels ( "A Chinese Odyssey Part One - Pandora's Box" and "A Chinese Odyssey Part Two - Cinderella" and "Journey to the West: Conquering the Demons").

The movie's only point may be Tsui Hark's visual effect due to his 3D experience and his imagination. It is the best one so far in Chinese movies.
