A Separation/一次别离 جدایی نادر از سیمین

As the Oscar winner of "Best Foreign Language Film of the Year 2012", this movie is not very artificially skilled, and could almost be regarded as a documentary of normal life of Iranian people. There is no sophisticated philosophy, or very shining idea, but just daily life of everyone. No one is truly bad, but there are inevitably many conflicts between different people.

This is life, simple and hopeful, while helpless and painful.
