While this sequel is undoubtedly a worthy successor to Zootopia, I find myself missing the deeper subtext and biting social commentary that defined the original. Where the first film leaned into clever satire, the sequel feels somewhat formulaic—relying on routine family conspiracies and predictable romantic tropes. It is a solid film, but it lacks the refreshing intellectual depth that made its predecessor so unique.
