美国并不仅仅是没有高考就没有升学的压力，你所就读的高校能在很大程度上决定将来的道路，和国内相比竞争一点也不轻松。没有考上的同学怎么办呢？国内的学生大概只能安心地复读准备下一年的高考，而真正素质教育下的美国同学的解决办法是：我们自己开办一所高校。这也正凸显了片中所谈到的教育的根本的目的：教育的真正目的是学生的passion和creativity。
影片节奏明快，而最后一段在听证会上，Bartleby（Justin Long饰）的一番慷慨激昂的陈词令人耳目一新，对国内的教育也会有相当的反思：
