Under the Hawthorn Tree/山楂树之恋

At the movie's release, it was regarded as the purest love. However, I did not think that was a pure love, on the contrary, this was just a kind of asexual love in the era of abstinence, was it pure? NO. Instead, the details of love in the movie were all built on the basis of material (the gifts were very affluent at that time, though would appear shabby today).

Re-examining the movie, we can see that this was a story on how a Bureaucrat Generation II went out with a chick at that time. Just because it was relatively poor at that time and everything seemed innocent. In fact, that night they did not have sex may owe more to the tight woman underwear rather than they so-called pure love.

本片上映的时候曾有人评价说，这部片子是关于最纯净的爱情。可惜的是，我不觉得这是什么清纯的爱情，这只不过是在禁欲盛行的年代的无性恋爱，无所谓清纯不清纯。相反，片中所认为的爱情的各种细节无不是建立在物质的基础上（虽然从今天的角度看，这些礼物的确少得可怜，但在当时已经算是很富裕了）。

重新审视这部电影，实际上这是一个那个时代的官二代泡妞的故事，只不过是因为当时的物质普遍比较贫乏而显得纯情罢了。实际上，那天晚上他们并没有发生性行为很可能还得归功于那条不容易脱下的女式内裤。
