This is rather a horror movie than a war movie: how the about 400 thousands of soldiers tried to get back from France to Britain at Dunkirk. There is no big fights like "
Hacksaw Ridge" here, and even goes without any great tycoons such as Churchill here in this movie. Nolan demonstrates his splendid skills in telling a big story in three clues with many normal soldiers. The audience could feel how a normal people in this war, very real.
