The underworld disclosed in the movie is far more complicated than some rogues fighting at streets. Not only do triads penetrate into all social sectors, but also they form their own running regulations. In fact, triads are just some little governments based on violence. There are no specific good guys or bad guys in the movie, just someone who defend the triad rules and some others who challenge the rules.

本片所揭示的黑社会的现象远远比只在街头打打杀杀的小混混要复杂得多。黑社会不但渗透到社会的各个阶层，而且也形成了自己的运行规则。其实，黑社会就是一种建立在暴力基础上的变形的政府组织。片中没有明确的好人和坏人，只有维护社团的人和因为挑战社团的规则而被除掉的人。
