Sherlock Holmes/福尔摩斯

At the beginning, this movie reminded me of Vidocq/夺面解码，and the two movies had almost the same style: the time when the story happened, the way of story-telling, the pictures, and also the magic atmosphere. The difference between the two may be that Vidocq/夺面解码 really relied on magic to tell the story, but Sherlock Holmes disclosed in the end of the movie that the so-called magic was practically scientific tricks.

Although Holmes in this movie was a little different from the former stereotype with lots of logic deduction and few actions, I think the change was good for the audience, which made the whole movie more exciting and arresting.
