The movie's point was the real fighting kung fu design (the prequel "Flash Point" was in same style), not the visual effect by wires or flashy kung fu. The movie really did a good job as well as "Ong Bak". However, the cop the leading role somewhat lacked patience and wisdom except for his kung fu skills and strong sense of justice. This was actually a big trouble for him, as his super strong sense of justice may lead him to do something injustice once he let his mind occupied by hatred.
本片的卖点就是真实的打斗（前传《盗火线》的风格也差不多），而不是过多用威亚吊着飞来飞去的特技和华而不实的功夫。本片确实也很用心，在这一点上做得很好，没有比《拳霸》差多少。不过，对主角警察来说，除了有功夫和超强的正义感之外，还少了一点耐心和智慧。这其实很麻烦，因为一旦让仇恨占据了大脑，那超强的正义感反而有可能让他做出很多非正义的事情。
