British-style cold humor + horror atmosphere of zombie movies, make this movie a distinctive zombie comedy. A seemingly decadent young man, summons his super power inside facing zombie attacks, and becomes a
finally-successful loser, which is probably one of the sources of its attractiveness, and of course, there are several tearing parts in this movie.
Martin Freeman, later stared in "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey", appears in this movie.
英国式的冷幽默+僵尸片似乎应该有的恐怖，让本片成为别具一格的喜剧僵尸片。似乎一事无成的颓废青年，却在僵尸来袭的时候焕发出超人一等的战斗力，成功成为逆袭的屌丝。这大概也是本片吸引力的来源之一，当然，片中也不乏各种泪点桥段。
后来在《霍比特人》中担纲主角的Martin Freeman，本片中也露了一脸。
