I think the point of this movie is to treat AI as real human being: just like regular people, they can be good, they can be bad, and they can be every human being as you know besides their more strength and smartness. The difference of AI and real people has being vanishing, and the emotions, which are the signals of human beings, can be revival among AI's.
It's chilling. Human beings are doomed to die out in the evolution. At least it looks so.
