The Master/师父

This is a classic kung fu movie with special style in China in around 1920's. The director/writer is Xu Haofeng, the original author of the novel for "Monk Comes Down The Mountain", well, he does a much better job than that movie.

The movie is worthy of watching. First, it has a complete and deep story. You can not exactly judge whether everyone inside is good or bad; they just perform as the regulations in the society. Every role is live. Second, the kung fu design is much real, nothing exaggerating with wires hanging. The audience just know that it should be the real kung fu fighting in that era. The director does a good job in controlling and balancing, and the story and the characterization are balanced well in this movie.
