Pawn Sacrifice/弃卒

This is a dark version of "A Beautiful Mind" or a crazy version of "The Go Master", a brief history of the legendary American chess player Bobby Fisher. Being in the center of the conflicts between America and Soviet Union, Bobby Fisher the genius chess grand master, defeated Boris Spassky, his Soviet counterpart, and became the world champion.

However, just like John Nash in "A Beautiful Mind", Bobby had been tortured by his mental illness all of his life. He could not avoid the illusion of being harmed and tracked, which led to his more and more weird action and his decline of chess playing. It was a worse tragedy than John Nash, as John Nash recovered later but Bobby did not get any chance until he died in 2008 in Iceland.

The 6th game between Bobby Fisher and Boris Spassky is the greatest one of the entire battle, which was of course the focus of the movie too. And it was the explanation of the game below.
