This movie is very good at telling the story of a Rambo-like doctor who became a skilled avenger based on his own family castle against the invading Nazi soldiers who had killed his loved wife and the daughter.
The structure of dual narration reminds the audience of the sharp conflict between peace and war, making the audience treasure the peaceful life much more, and you can feel how strong a man could be to defend his own family against enemies outside.
