Heroic Sons and Daughters/英雄儿女

This is a well-known propaganda movie on the Korean War. The story line is kind of inhuman (totally opposite to "Saving Private Ryan"): a senior Chinese army office sent his own daughter to the Korean War battlefield after knowing his friend's unique son killed there.


I truly dislike this movie because I acknowledge that the so-called Korean War is an invasion to the South Korea by the communist world. As the intruder, I can't believe why a father can send his daughter there to kill the defenders. But, the movie was a huge success as a propaganda movie, many Chinese still believe that the artificial movie is the history itself up till now.
