按中国的分类法，这是比较典型的武侠片：Po勤学苦练，学得一身本领，终于击败大反派。精致的画面和背景音乐（Everybody is Kungfu Fighting）给片子增色不少。片中的很多桥段都有邵氏电影和周星驰电影的影子，但是除了感叹为什么洋人能拍出来这么好的片子之外无话可说。也许把这句话里的Legend tells of a legendary warrior whose kung fu skills were the stuff of legend的warrior换成movie就是对片子最好的评价。
