Colour of the Truth/黑白森林

The movie was about a story on choosing and positioning. Although it was named after "Color of the Truth", but the world was not black-and-white, the truth was not so easy to tell. You may be given many choices, but you can choose only one way to go. The dramatic conflicts were exacerbated largely under the background of police vs. gangs. To be a good guy or a bad guy? Sometimes there was not so many ways in front of you. The story on positioning was somewhat like the movie "Turning Point" years later.

There was a part in the movie: Ah Wei (by Jordan Chan) played blind chess with a Chinese chess master, a chess master and a go-chess master at the same time, and he won all. Well, the part may be a little too exaggerating, but it did impress the audience much.

本片讲述的是一个选择和定位的故事，虽然名字叫《黑白森林》，但这个世界并非是非黑即白的，真相也不是那么容易就可以分辨清楚的。命运可能会给你很多选择，但你只能选择其中的一条路走。在警察和黑帮的背景下，戏剧冲突被大大激化了。要做一个好人，还是一个坏人？有的时候没有太多的选择摆在你面前。这个定位的故事颇有点像若干年后的《变节》。

片中有一个场景，是阿威（陈小春扮演）独自一人，同时与中国象棋、国际象棋、围棋三大高手下盲棋，而且都赢了，这个桥段未免夸张了点，当然，给观众的印象倒是挺深刻。
