This is kind of typical love movie: a couple of young people, no matter they are friends or enemies, need to get married for some reason. Although the two may be unwillingly to do so at the beginning, there is always a happy ending.Yet, this movie reminded me the certificate-discrimination in China nowadays. For example, the actress in the movie had to do something to save her career just because she was not an American and would have to be deported. In China, especially in some big cities such as Beijing, one may come across the similar problem just because he/she does not own a hukou (certificate of local citizen). However, this kind of story may be a comedy in the US but would be a tragedy in China.
