Bodyguards and Assassins/十月围城

This was a good movie if discussing only the movie itself. All elements, including images, rhythm, roles, editing, music, etc, all did a good job to have impress the audience much. However, the story itself had a biased base: the only reason why so many people die was just "because Sun Yat-sen was the leader of the revolution". The movie told the audience: only by the leader's guidance can we do revolutionary work, can we earn our happiness; we would have everything with the leader, and nothing without the leader. -- This idea was so questionable, which was actually another way of saying "God please send a wise king to save the world", demonstrating that the ordinary people were still in lack of self-confidence in controlling their own destiny.

从影片本身来说，是很棒的一部片子。画面、节奏、人物、剪辑、音乐，等等，都做得很到位，能让观众真的沉浸在这个故事里。但是说到故事，立意上却存在偏颇。故事里让无数人前仆后继不惜赴汤蹈火为之牺牲的，竟仅仅是因为“孙中山是革命的领袖”这一句话。片子认为，有了领袖才能干革命，有了领袖才能领导群氓走向幸福，有了领袖才有一切，没有领袖就什么都没有。这个立意其实是很值得商榷的，它其实是“乞求上天降下一个明君拯救世人”的变种，仍然显露出普通人对自身的不自信。
