The Countess/女伯爵

Two points arrested me after my watching this movie:

The first is the feminism. I agree with the Countess' words in the court. She admitted that she took hundreds of lives just to take the fresh blood to keep her young; however, what about those who killed many of thousands lives in the battlefield? They took more lives than she did, but should they be called hero and she be called evil? A lord who slaughtered people may not surprise the public, then why a countess who killed would arouse such an attention? She did not deny her guilt, but she demanded a fair treatment.

And the second is the fact that history is always recorded by those who win, whether you like this fact or not. It's easy to understand that the one who last to the end will write the history book, so his/her viewpoints will become the history. It may probably be impossible for us the know what the real history is. For example, maybe the countess was really evil? Who knows? Or maybe she was just framed by her enemies? No one knows.

The countess died, but the similar story will happen again and again, if the two principles above continue.
