Astro Boy/阿童木

An interesting animation movie, maybe we can take this movie as a recordery of how a boy grew up to a man, and this boy was a cyborg, which made it more difficult for him to accept his identity. The circumstance of Astro was kind of similar to that of Terminator 2018, yet, this cute boy led a more comfortable life than the terminator as he lived in a fairy world.

This animation was very famous to some Chinese people who were born around 1970's, and became part of their childhood memory. To watch the movie was kind of wonderful experience as this reminded one of his childhood memory. And, Astro Boy tried its best to keep the characterization of the main characters but innovated a lot in animation technologies, to attract the interest of young audience while making their parents feel familiar.
