Black humor is much common in American antiwar movies. As to the general audience, such humor can not be explained in words, but just could be felt. Each guy in the movie appeared seriously while doing something seemingly reasonable but in fact was something baffling, and by this way did they show the ridiculousness and irony of the war in calm and quiet.

黑色幽默是美国反战题材中比较常见的手法。对于普通观众来说，这样的幽默无法言传，只能意会。电影中的每个人物都煞有介事地做着貌似合情合理但实际上很令人莫名其妙的事情，在不动声色中传递着对战争的巨大嘲讽。
