Fortunately or not, the movie repeated the successful routine of the movie "Ong Bak" both on the story and the characters' set, only the fact that the male leading role was about to look for an elephant, not a Buddha head as in the first one. The only difference from the "Ong Bak" was the improvement of the fighting skills, however, the action skill alone can not attract the audience for long.

Chinese audience may be more familiar with the cast, as it was the dancer Jin Xing who starred the leading villain. Many Chinese kew about her (him) was not because of her dancing, but because she was one of the first to publicize her transgender identity.

中国观众可能会感到更加熟悉其中的演员阵容，因为其中饰演反角的是舞蹈家金星。很多中国人知道她（他）并非由于她的舞蹈，而是由于她是中国最早的公开自己身份的变性人之一。
