The Coca-Cola Kid/可口可乐小子

The movie tries to tell a story of how an ambitious Coca-Cola marketing man extends the market to some isolated area in Australia. However, this story is so broken, many roles inside look so insane or crazy. The leading guy (by Eric Roberts) looks like puzzled by his secretary's love proposal, on the other hand, he seems to be a gay. T. George, the owner of the plant, sometimes looks friendly to Coca-Cola, but soon turns out that he would rather burn his plant than to cooperate with Coca-Cola. What does this movie want to tell me? Is there any clear clue?

I really do not understand why this movie was listed in the so-called 20 must-watch movies for business students. I do not see any marketing strategy or business lessons inside, except for some rigid love story.
