The Great White Tower/白色巨塔/白い巨塔

This is a great realistic movie about Japan's medic system and the whole society. Kidnapped by corruption and self-reinforced groups with vested interest. To strengthen their own interest, the corrupted groups would take advantage of fake democratic procedures to fulfill their own purpose. This is more than the issue of medic system, this is the issue of the whole society.

The opening scene of bloody real demonstration of a patient stomach is a clear metaphor of the essence of this movie: the director would show every ugly side of Japanese medic system and hide nothing to the audience.
