The conflicts between traditional food-production and the modern way remains as a heated topic for many debates through news reports, non-fictions, and movies. In this movie, the conflicts were exaggerated. Doubtlessly to say, French people are proud of their own cuisine tradition and are always ready to defend their tradition.

It is said China is a country with good food too, but I don't remember Chinese people ever produced any good food-related movies.
