Paulette/美味毒妇

This movie is kind of like the Korean counterpart "Pistol Bandit Gang", while there is French-style tearful humor instead of the irritation of Korean movies. The movie includes many dark aspects of French society, such as pension issue, drug control, family conflicts, colored immigration, racial discrimination, etc., which are all interwoven in a old lady's life and demonstrated in front of the audience in an easy way. The audience could finish this movie with smiles, but would feel somewhat sad later.

This movie's IMDB score is much lower than I expected, probably it is because American audiences prefer exaggerating funny comedies to this kind of live comedies.

本文的故事和《六轮枪强盗团》有点相似，但没有了韩国电影中的暴躁之气，取而代之的是法国式的带着泪水的幽默。法国社会中不那么光鲜的方方面面，譬如养老问题，贩毒，家庭矛盾，有色人种移民，种族歧视等等，统统交织在一个老太太的生活中，又以一种轻松的方式展现在观众面前。观众可以带着微笑看完这部电影，但看完之后又会觉得很心酸。

本片的IMDB评分低于我的预期，大概是因为美国观众不太适应这种平淡中见悲喜的喜剧、更喜欢夸张搞笑的喜剧吧。
