The cast's performance and professionalism deserve every compliment, and the Oscar rewards are the proof. In my opinion, the movie's point is: how do you fight for yourself? Everyone may abandon you, but you can't yourself. If you are disappointed to yourself, then who else can save you? This is animals' survival instinct, triumphing the secular law and government regulations.

Matthew McConaughey looks so different from his appearance in "The Lincoln Lawyer", and I almost failed to identify him.
