The Imitation Game/模仿游戏

Based on the real life story of legendary cryptanalyst Alan Turing, who was also the factual inventor of the first computer, the film portrays the nail-biting race against time by Turing and his brilliant team of code-breakers at Britain's top-secret Government Code and Cypher School at Bletchley Park, during the darkest days of World War II.

Yet, this movie is more than a documentary; actually it is a love story between Alan Turing and his homo-partner Christopher, which is a public secret currently but at that time at 1940's in Britain this relationship was taken as a kind of sickness and unfairly treated. This tragedy finally ruined Alan Turing, a shy great genius.

Quotes:
Christopher Morcom: Sometimes it's the very people who no one imagines anything of who do the things no one can imagine.

Alan Turing: Do you know why people like violence? It is because it feels good. Humans find violence deeply satisfying. But remove the satisfaction, and the act becomes... hollow.

Performance impression:
Cast: Benedict Cumberbatch, Keira Knightley, Mark Strong
