Jian Bing Man/煎饼侠

This is a fairly good movie. Da Peng (Dong, Chengpeng) tried to fabricate a satisfying story framework and to fulfill it with the well-known stars as many as he can. Although there are so many stars, Da Peng succeeded in avoiding the movie to be a show-off one, but a solid-based inspiring one.

There are two easy misunderstandings for this type of movies with so many stars: 1, the director takes it for granted that it is enough to let every star to show up in the movie and the box office would be good; 2, the director tries to tell a story but finally fails to control the whole rhythm. However, this movie is good as it avoids the two misunderstandings above. Since this is the debut of Da Peng as a movie director, I think he did a good job.
