Lights Out/关灯后

Maybe it was James Wan who was the producer of the movie, it went with strong James-Wan-style: darkness, black shadow and the jump scare skills. And under these building of horror atmosphere, this movie's quality was guaranteed.

Yet, to embody the horror threat may be a double-edged sword: one hand, it explained the source of horror, which helped the audience to emotionally understand the family better and feel the relationship among the family; while on the other hand, it may undermine the scare of the whole movie, as people would be scared less if they know the thing more or less.
