This is a love romance in a spaceship: a guy who is lonely risks to wake up a girl, which is "amounts to murder". And the guy tries his best to redeem himself and makes up his guilt, which lets the girl to love him again. Anyway, A drowning man will always try to drag anyone down with him, which is a basic instinct of human beings, especially when he is lonely for so long.

The turnover in plot is very hard, but the director and the two leads' performance worked very well, and offered a convincing explanation. This is not a "love-triumphs-finally" story, nor a Stockholm syndrome; it is more like a redemption story.

Jennifer Lawrence is so pretty here, wow. If I were the lead, I may not hesitate that long to wake her up.

The visual effect of the swimming pool in zero-gravity is so astonishing.
