After dozens of years, Ridley Scott offered another big cuisine to fans of "Alien", one of the greatest sci-fi series in the movie history. He did better: here in this episode "Alien: Covenant", he quietly transferred the core point of the movie from simple horror to the conflicts among different species of creatures. Human beings, who dominate in the certain era, could totally be possibly replaced by another kind of "creation" so easily. The whole movie is about the desperation of replacement: no one can avoid this tendency, which is surely a tragedy for human beings.
An interesting question is: which threat is closer? Replaced by machines like in "Ex Machina" or replaced by aliens like in here?
