Shoplifters/小偷家族/万引き家族

This is a weird Japanese family: all family members have no real blood relations, it seems that they get together in a house just to financially support one anther for money. However, the audience could feel the strong love and connection among one another.

They all have some dark sides in their struggling against with their life, such as cheating, stealing and lying. Moreover, they all have some dark history. When something seemingly small happens, the whole family collapses.

Sakura Andô is a talent in performing. Her one minute solo show in the police office is the shinning point of the whole movie.
