The point of a good detective movie/fiction/comic book should lie in the wisdom game of the villains and the detectives/police/good guys. It must impress the audience by the smart structure, not by some apparently-fabricated conspiracy.
The villain(actually the writer of the animation) in the animation made an obvious mistake: his conspiracy plot was too large to control by himself, which was exciting in theaters, but absolutely not practical at all. The failure of the roles' establishments weakened the whole animation.
Performance impression:
Director: Tomoka Nagaoka
