When you made a mistake, do NEVER try to make another mistake to cover the former one. The three guy characters ignored this simple principle, and ruined their lives. This is the first lesson.

And the second lesson is: eat your own apples. Pay no attention to those sounds attractive and profitable, especially when it is immoral or illegal. Don't cross the line, because you may not be able to afford. I understood that the reason why the policeman by Koo Tin Lok crossed the line because he needed money to pay the bill of hospital fee of his son, however, to understand doesn't mean to forgive, you crossed the line, and you need to be prepared to take on the results, which proved to be too much for him.
