Detective Dee and the Mystery of the Phantom Flame/狄仁杰之通天帝国

The movie's cast and crew team was quite luxurious, and the story was an elegant one. This movie was a representative of the recent Chinese high cost movies for its expensive script, characters' setting, picturing and the visual effect. The movie was good overall, and could be regarded as the beginning of creating a classic screen character "the famous detective Mr. Di Renjie". Yet, some parts exaggerated a little too much, which was really unnecessary.

本片的演职员阵容相当豪华，故事也打造得很考究，从故事情节、人物设置、画面布景和视觉特效来说，都是近期华语大片的代表。影片的效果整体不错，也可以看作是打造“狄仁杰”这个经典人物造型的开始。但遗憾的是，某些情节过分渲染，实际上并没有必要。
