The movie also adopted the usual Mr. Bean way: being so wise as like a fool, or being so fool as like a wise guy. Compared to the first "Johnny English", there was little innovations and the jokes almost followed the same routine way.

本片仍然走的是憨豆先生的常用套路：大智若愚，或者说大愚若智。相比第一部《憨豆特工》而言，其实推陈出新的地方不多，笑料的套路基本上是一样的。
