War Horse/战马

The movie was slightly a little long, which might be necessary for such a long-lasting story on World War I. The entire movie was based on a horse named Joey, yet it was a reflection on human nature and wars. A part of the movie was impressive: Joey the horse was trapped in the iron wire fence between the two armies, and each one soldier of the British and Germany armies walked out bravely to rescue the horse jointly. At that time, the Germany soldier Peter found they need one more cutter, and shouted to his trench: I need one more cutter. Soon five or six cutters were thrown out to them. This was so amusing while so touching. At that moment, the was seemed had finished, and only human nature left.

The end of the film was like paintings, making the audience to feel the history.

影片略显冗长，但作为一部表现战争题材的大跨度影片来说，可能是不得不为之。全片以名为Joey的马为线索，但贯穿的却是对人性、对战争的反思。片中的一个情节令人印象深刻：Joey马被困在两军阵地之间的铁丝网中，英德双方各有一个勇敢的士兵走出战壕去联手解救这匹马。其间，德国人Peter发现还需要一把钳子，就冲自己的战壕喊了一声：我还需要一把钳子。结果飞出来五六把钳子。既令人忍俊不禁，又让人感慨不已。那一刻，战争似乎已经完全结束，只有人性的光辉在闪耀。

影片的结尾有如油画，极具历史厚重感。
