Brotherhood of Blades/绣春刀

This movie is much better than my expectation; finally there is a Mainland Kung fu movie being able to tell a good story. The framework is traditional, yet the story is innovated: struggles among the different people. Everyone has his own purpose, some for money, some for power, some for his buddies, some for women, and everyone is not totally selfish; everyone lives real. The success of characterizing roles led to the success of the whole movie.

The kung fu design in this movie is impressive. The designer succeeded in making the actors who knew little about kung fu more like kung fu masters.
