This is an excellent metaphor movie in the form of an animation, everyone could see something own inside. Japanese bubble economy, the greedy human nature, growing experience of a young girl, etc, all you would be able to interpret based on the movie.
The leading girl faced the great challenges in front of her during her growing up with her pure nature, which was very informative and insightful.
