Hot Fuzz/热血警探

This movie was much better than my expectation. I had expected to watch a Britain version of "Bad Boys", but it turned out to be much more shining: to discuss a serious topic under the cover of a regular cop-villain story framework. This kind of movie can only appear in UK where there are anti-utopian works such as "1984" or "V for Vendetta".

Remeber what F. Hoelderlin said: It is precisely the person who always makes a country a hell on earth and it is precisely people who try to turn it into heaven. Sandford in the movie is the very metaphor of the hell-heaven; it had been just a normal country, but some people wanted to make it the best of UK and then start to erase whatever they dislike. What they did really made the town to become a hell. The hot fuzz solved the hell-heaven issue in a humourous and violent way, but in reality, there are still many hell-heaven places, especially in totalitarian nations.
