Deadend Besiegers/东瀛游侠

The movie follows the traditional routine of "A good guy learns kung fu and defeats the evil", just adds some historical background of defending against Japanese pirates, which is kind of innovative. Yet, the Japanese villains in the movie are just too ridiculous and defamed, probably in order to cater the market need. Zhang Xinyan the director also directed the famous "Shaolin Temple", so the audience still can sense the taste of "Shaolin Temple" in this movie.

本片是传统的学武然后惩恶扬善的故事，只不过加入了“抗击倭寇”这个历史背景，显得稍微有点变化，不过里面一些对日本人的调侃和嘲弄显得有点过头，大概也是为了迎合市场。片子的导演同样执导了著名的《少林寺》，所以片子还可以看到浓浓的《少林寺》的味道。
