The Lion Roars/河东狮吼

This is a typical one of the costume comedy routine. It is not a top production but it entered the mainland market at the right time. The movie is a good combination of humorous and sensational parts, and it is so attractive to the audience because of the certain quotes (see below). In contrast, "The Lion Roars 2" is a worse product and lost the good market timing, so its failure is expected.

本片是古装搞笑片的代表作，片子本身的制作水准不算特别优异，但它进入大陆市场的时机刚刚好，比较好地结合了轻松幽默和煽情的部分，而且也因为部分台词（见下）而成为观众们追捧的对象。相比之下，《河东狮吼2》的制作水平更低，而且也不再拥有良好的市场机会，所以失败也是意料之中的。
