The movie was one of the classics of Bruce Lee. Various elements in the movie (such as sharp shout, his own style kicks, nunchaku, yellow tight clothing, etc) had been repeated and imitated in lots of movies. Bruce Lee demonstrated kinds of amazing kung fu skills in the movie, and made the movie more than a film masterpiece, but also a masterpiece in martial art.
The movie's "Chinese kung fu player beats foreigners" story was a groundbreaking mode in that era, which reflected the fast developing Hong Kong culture and the their own positioning of themselves. The story mode was so repeatedly used since then that it almost became too average.
