The movie made a useful attempt to put the singing-and-dancing into itself and to tell the story of "peasants out in the city" in a positive and optimistic tone. The exploration in movie skills was good, but it might be too easy to talk about the story of "peasants out in the city".-- Of course, we the audience understand it may be killed by the Chinese bureau of movie-censorship if it were not that easy.
The lines were live, and sketched out the picture of the humble life in China's society (although only a small part of it).
本片是有益的尝试，把歌舞形式融入到电影当中，以积极乐观的态度拍出了这个农民进城的故事。在电影技巧上的探索值得称赞，但是在具体的故事上，却对“农民进城”这个主题显得过分轻松了些。——当然，如果不是这样，这部电影可能无法通过中国电影监管当局的审查。
台词很有生活气息，勾勒出一幅市井生活的画卷（虽然仅仅是一小部分）。
