Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant/奇趣马戏团：吸血鬼助手

Young version of a vampire story. Like the "Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief", the producer promoted this teenager's version of vampire story to replace the much-talked old vampire stories.

The movie's points were somewhat new: vampires need to recruit even in modern times and the movie explained how. In order to avoid a moral dilemma, the movie introduced the conflicts of vampires vs. vampaneze, which was also a preparation for its sequel(s).

青春版的吸血鬼故事，和《波西·杰克逊与神火之盗》有点类似，也是老一代的英雄/吸血鬼的故事题材挖掘得差不多了，于是开始推出青春版本。

本片的视角也是算比较新颖的——即使是在现代，吸血鬼也需要补充自己的后备力量。而为了不引起道德上的困境，影片也必然引入和吸血鬼对立的吸血魔这一概念，也是在为续集的推出做好铺垫。
