We the audience can tell that the movie had been trying to imitate Hollywood's animations, but unfortunately technical imitation could not replace everything; the movie still inherited many original shortcomings of Chinese animation in some crucial parts: weak plot, stiff fun, bland content, and there is still a long way to go.
