The key of many of Stephen Chow's movies is the successful combination of inspirational/growth story and Wu Li Tou (making-nonsense words), but this movie failed to do well. The story was prosaic: father died in an accident, brought back by aliens afterward. This topic could have been more attractive, but it did not.

周星驰很多电影的成功关键是励志/成长故事+巧妙结合的无厘头，但是这部片子并没有结合得很好。故事也很平淡：父亲不幸遇难，被外星人救活了。这个本来可以挖掘一下的题材，没有发出它本来的光彩。
